With that said, I have made a lifelong commitment to never buy a Rolex from an AD. You can either get 90% of the Rolex quality with 0% of the fuss with a Breitling/Omega tier watch (and save a few 00 on the way) or you can go grey and save some money (and not get treated like a bag of dirt).
As a counterpoint to the generally negative reports of Rolex ADs, I want to share the positive experience I enjoyed yesterday. I am looking to buy my first luxury watch and have no past buying history with any AD.

My experience is limited since my total time dealing with an AD started in mid December 2020, four months ago. Over the next 2 months I was offered and purchased a Pepsi and a Root Beer. He also offered me a Batman...which I did not purchase.
