Based on an ETA movement, the Cal. 2500 was accurate and thin, allowing the first models of the OMEGA Aqua Terra to measure just 11mm thick. The first examples with the co-axial 8500 movement seem to be from around 2014, and then in 2017 they were refreshed again with the "teak" moving to horizontal and the date window moving down to 6 o'clock. I decided to proceed with the more mainstream option of the modern, standard Aqua Terra and forego the Day-Date (which I couldn't find new in the local market anyway anymore). I am between the blue and green dial but I'll most probably go with the blue.
